Summary of the Book The book opens with the furtherance of book two, Theodore Boon: The Abduction. The murder case of Pete Duffy is about to begin and that is the only thing everyone is talking about. Theo has consent from his teacher to be in court for the opening remarks and to report back to the class about the proceedings. But Pete Duffy skips town and the trial is postponed. When Theo comes back to school, he sees that his locker has been meddled with. He is falsely accused of a few crimes. How does he figure out what is actually going on?
