Having done a certification course under Project Hope, affiliated to Diabetes International, UK, she is also one of the major diabetes educators in India.
Sucheta P. Dandekar is currently Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
