Al though giving way without outward resistance to the dictates of the male dominated society the girl takes upon herself the challenge of proving her worth as a complete individual. The Madonna in woman forms a part of the core and meaning of humankind itself. Woman flourishes in full glory as 'person' accepting and cultivating this aspect. This is what mahua hopes for and struggles to prove through her life.
