Legal Drafting and Convincing Ed 2012

We are highly grateful to almighty Allah that at last we have completed our works with in four years of its starting. We faced various hurdles after going to lower courts and higher court for lack of knowledge in drafting. The Public and Private Universities of Bangladesh generate law graduates and not lawyers because of their different limitations. After completion of highest degree on law with glorious result, the meritorious students run without any knowledge of drafting on practical aspects. The good news for us that recently the Department of Law, University of Dhaka has revised its previous curriculum in Honours level and the course on “legal drafting" has been introduced in that course curriculum. Besides this, some of the private universities have included the course on legal drafting. But the real problem is that being a new subject and new curriculum, the students are facing various complications because of absence of any authentic text book. The students need such a text book on legal drafting that can meet their demand in easy way. Later, we decided to write down a “Text Book on Legal Drafting and Conveyancing". We have perused the course outlines of different public and private universities of Bangladesh on legal drafting and conveyancing, heard the problems and way out from the students and course teachers and young lawyers. We have tried to highlight that this book will cover all kinds of drafting like Cases, Suits, Petitions, Appeal, Revision, Quashment, Writ which are needed from the Magistrate Court to Supreme Court of Bangladesh and all kinds of Deeds, Documents, Notice and Agreement and others which are needed in our day to day business transactions.
