মোজাফফর হোসেন

মোজাফফর হোসেন ১৯৮৬ সালে মেহেরপুরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন এবং রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ইংরেজি ভাষা ও সাহিত্যে উচ্চশিক্ষা গ্রহণ করেন। তিনি পেশাজীবন শুরু করেন সাংবাদিকতা দিয়ে এবং বর্তমানে বাংলা একাডেমিতে অনুবাদ-কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে কর্মরত আছেন। তিনি মূলত কথাসাহিত্যিক হলেও অনুবাদ এবং সমালোচনা সাহিত্যেও বিশেষ আগ্রহী। তাঁর লেখা "অতীত একটা ভিনদেশ" গল্পগ্রন্থের জন্য তিনি ২০১৭ সালে এক্সিম ব্যাংক-অন্যদিন হুমায়ূন আহমেদ কথাসাহিত্য পুরস্কার এবং "পরাধীন দেশের স্বাধীন মানুষেরা" গল্পগ্রন্থের জন্য ২০১৮ সালে আবুল হাসান সাহিত্য পুরস্কার অর্জন করেন।
